This was the first gift that he played with Christmas morning and I'm not lying when I say that he played with this ALL DAY. IMO, Lego is very expensive and I am often hesitant to spend so much on toys that might be cast aside quickly. But, I must say, that he has played with this set most days for the last month and is still showing interest. Good stuff by .. He has trouble with some of the small pieces(Mom has to help) but overall this was a great addition to his toy box. Pretty Cool for my 5 year old by .. Crhistopher Cantor (Irvine) My 5-year old loves legos, and this one in particular, he built and took apart, then re-built, probably 4 times. He loves it. Only problem I have with it is that the only thing he really took interest in was the actual truck. The rest that is included with it didn't seem to keep his intereest and once he completed it a few times, he moved on to something else.... which meant he wanted more legos. And legos aren't cheap!
