This breed is the most popular of the Poodle varieties. These dogs were originally bred to be water retrievers. They are cheerful, highly intelligent, sensitive, lively, playful, proud, elegant, obedient, graceful and very trainable. They make excellent watchdogs. Their small size makes them ideal pets for apartment dwellers.
Miniature Poodles stand up to 15 inches at the shoulders. They can weigh between 8-17 lbs. Miniature Poodles have a long lifespan of around 13-15 years.
Miniature Poodles are one of the most popular pets in the world. The Miniature Poodle is bouncy, alert, and usually eager to play. Miniature Poodles are usually more energetic than Standard Poodles.
All puppies are vet checked, AKC registerable, current shots & health papers. Pedigrees available on request. Home raised, socialized from birth.
These poodle puppies come from my family pets, not from kennels. They have been loved and cared for in the best manner possible. Poodles don't shed and don't know they are dogs. They are hypo-alergenic - which means that people are not usually allergic to their fur.
There are 48 champions in the father's blood line, including 2 international champions. The father is a jet-black miniature and the mother is a party poodle, now mainly white in color. Most of these puppies (so far) all have had a "prancing" gait like those of show dogs - due to the championship bloodline, no doubt.
The puppies will not be ready for taking home until they are 8 weeks old, which means around July 20th, 2009.
We are taking reservations at this point. To reserve a puppy you should come by and see them and select one. The reservation fee is $100.00 (not refundable - that's the idea behind reserving). Of course, the $100 goes toward the price if you buy.
See photo.
Our puppies go very fast so this time we are taking reservations. Don't wait too long....
AS OF 7/24/2009:: Only 1 black male left. They are going very fast!!!!!
