The display on the Flip UltraHD Camcorder is quite big for the size of the whole package. It includes a rechargeable AA battery back, that works through the USB, but it looks like you might throw in regular AA batteries in a pinch. Sound quality is ample, video seems even better than the Mino. Only drawback is you have to steady your hand when recording - but I find that more manageable to do with the Ultra than the Mino. Also, it's not ideal for filming kids' concerts, because the zoom is only 2x. But for enjoying otherwise fleeting moments in super quality, the Ultra HD is now never anywhere else. The software that comes with it makes it easy to email videos to family and friends, or to upload a video to Flickr or wherever. In short, I've been carrying my UltraHD around round the clock since I got it. I'm still waiting for my call to stardom but I love my Flip UltraHD Camcorder.
