This laptop is NOT new but in great condition. There is slight wear on the some of the keys, you can kind of see if in the pics. There is also so wear in the edges of the laptop where the finish is coming off from sliding it in and out of my backpack. The laptop has about 5 months left on the warranty (*** Special Conditions Apply!) so if something breaks it can be fixed by Alienware. This laptop has been great and I have never had any issues running any programs, I have run photo editing programs and videos games with no problems. Alienware m9700 gaming laptop. Quick Specs: 1 gig ram, 120 gb HD, AMD Turion(tm) 64 Mobile Technology ML-37 @ 804 MHz, 17" widscreen Display, NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics card, 1.3 megapixel built in web cam, Windows XP.
The parts + the screen and casing itself are worth over $400. Why am I selling it so cheap? As an older gaming laptop it overheats very quickly, If you plan on using this as a "laptop" as in taking it places and using it you will only get a good 20-30 mins on a wood surface before it overheats (10-20 on your lap). If you place it on it's cooling platform (included) prop it up with a book or two you will get hours and hours before overheating. I took the back panel off the computer to help with air flow, unfortunately I lost the screws, they shouldn't be too hard to find but honesty I'd just leave it off it helps with cooling.
Included: The computer, An Aluminum laptop cooling platform w/ 2 50mm fans built in, Charger, and a nifty little thing call the Alienware respawn disc. Lets say you download a virus and you can't get rid of it well you can save all your information on an external drive and pop in the respawn disc and it will wipe your Hard drive and reset the computer to factory settings, it's very handy. If you've ever had to do a manual install of windows from the disc you'll know what I'm talking about.
For a point of reference of the computers power, It ran oblivion High settings with shadows @ 30+ FPS.
