"I own the 2009 Version Silver/White" 2009-05-21By
K. Snyder (Los Angeles, CA)
It appears that the 2009 silver/white shown(the one I purchased) is not available at the time of this writing. The images shown that don't have the abdominal armor may be the 2008 version.
The Jacket is everything you would expect from the picture. Just a great looking jacket. The abdominal armor really make the jacket look nice and I now have the six pack I always wanted : ). I tested the jacket in 90 degrees and ventilation is good. The light color also was the best choice. Sitting at a light or in traffic the light color seems to keep jacket cooler. The liner is very easy to remove/install, it folds up small and is light weight. Looks like it may even fit in the pocket of jacket though I haven't tested this. The white area of the arms and shoulders is not mesh and looks like it would hold up better in the event of a fall, although being white I think that would be the end of the jacket.
The jacket is fairly thin but seems well made.
The fit is trim but I would say true to size. I am 6'2" 180lbs. I usually wear an extra large Jacket and 33-34 in waist in pants. I purchased a tailors tape to help me with sizing. I measured 37 waste and 43 chest so I went with a 46. The 46 is equal to a large according to their sizing chart. The fit is perfect, close to the body, neither loose or tight. If you have a belly though you may have a problem.
All in all very happy with the jacket.
