Been using a half helmet for 3 summers but always wanted the protection of a full face. Read a review this month in RIDER and this helmet was rated pretty good. Just got back from my first ride with it - THIS HELMET IS UNUSABLE. The wind is so loud it is completely distracting.
Since this is my first full face I'll hold back on the 1 star rating because maybe all full face helmets are noisy.
I'm a large but needed an XXL in the Sparx, even then the cheek pads are too tight. I like the ear protection, full chin bar, full shield but the noise makes this a useless piece of junk.
I'm going to plug the two vents tomorrow, both front and rear, and will let you know if it's any better.
Can any one contribute - are all full face helmets loud or just this one?
