"Nice lower speed helmet, higher speed if modified" 2008-09-21By

Great finish, easily removed top and side liners, good space for ears. Small size was a little loose for my size 7 head so I added some thin foam strips under the liner, very easy. With a 1/4 fairing bike the wind pulled my head back pretty bad over 55 or 60 MPH. I removed the visor and secured the shield with some 3/32" plexi glass I cut with a hole saw. Used foam tape on backside for friction. Now I have the best of both worlds. 3/4 helmet with great vision and low wind drag at higher speeds. Almost as low drag as a full face. Looks OK this way also. Shield can be moved to any level and stays there. I love this helmet. I am one of those who does not like full faced helmets with restricted vision. Plus I like to feel the wind on my entire face.
