Second, the gun probably broke because you tried to cock it, but the spring jammed. When it 'accidently fell', the spring may have fired, causing the pressure inside the chamber from the compressing air to blow the gun into two. While this may seem to apply to all of these guns, I think that yours was the 1 in 589 of all air guns maunfactured that just was improperly made. For those not wanting to read the techinical crap, here is my take on this: if you live in an area where your neighbors include ones to the right, left and back of your backyard, this is good for taking down that darn squrriel. For target shooting in the woods or anywhere that lets you fire up 25', use air guns that get at least 410 FPS. Terrible dont buy by ..
