GOD PROMISES THIS …. And I have found “this” to be like “hidden secret facets of light” in the Holy Scriptures. His Word is like a “rare jewel” amongst a treasure chest full of jewels and diamonds, intermingled with Gold and Silver of great value ..
If you will but take a moment from your busy life - SAY TO YOUR SOUL - I am captain of thee .. and I command thee my soul - WAIT THOU ONLY UPON GOD and let my expectation be from Him Alone!
Some would say why do I need concern myself with just one rare diamond if I have thousands , and thousands ? GOOD QUESTION! maybe it’s because after having looked , and looked , and looked at all those diamonds , there is one that sticks out ? Brighter than the rest with facets of light so brilliant that I can barely cast my eyes upon it ! It raises my “curiosity” and i ask WHY is this ? .. So I look more intently and I seek to know more .. and ask WHY IS THIS THE WAY ... and the diamond's light says this from God's Word ..
‘I rescue all who cling to me,
I protect whoever knows my name,
I answer everyone who invokes me,
I am with them when they are in trouble;
I bring them safety and honour.
I give them life, long and full
And show them how I can save.’ Psalm 91:14-16
