Good bird, fast learner, but we're not providing enough time for her. Free to a good home, with someone who can train birds and spend adequate time with her. Included are her cage, all her toys, and a smaller travel cage.
We just want to see that she's properly taken care of, and we're not home often enough to do so.
The ideal candidate is someone who:
-Has worked with birds/cockatiels before
-Has someone home to spend time with the bird most of the time (that's time out of the cage, mostly)
-And/or has another cockatiel to help keep her company
-Has a clean and safe living environment
-Someone mature who will actively care for this bird.
We will not give her away to:
-Full time students/professionals with little free time at home
-Kids (birds are too attention intensive, and kids can lose interest in pets too fast)
-Casual pet seekers who just want to give it a whirl, try a parakeet or a goldfish first.
I think you get the jist, do not apply if you're not willing to invest the time to PROPERLY care for an animal.
