You simply plug it in, your computer recognizes it, plug in your speakers and your mic. That's all there is to it. No drivers, it just works and it works well. Not much in the way of controls. For my desktop it was easier to just tap into the soundcard using an RCA cable, I could then figure out how to hear the music while it was playing. Had I known before, I would have gone directly for the U-Control, together with my old Vinyl turntable, forgotten about USB turntables, and saved a lot of cash. And best of all, in spite of the maker claims that it requires Windows or Mac OS, it works perfectly under Linux (Mandriva 2008.1) with no driver being necessary.
