British families with roots in the area, Le Rondini are situated on a
new complex of villettas, on a wooded hillside, overlooking the
beautiful and undiscovered Val di Cornia. Our patios have views across
the valley towards Monteverdi and Monterotondo, and in the distance,
the sea and the island of Elba. The houses can be rented separately or
together for two families as they are next door to one another. A pool
is planned for summer 2009 but is not guaranteed at the moment! However
the beach at Castagneto is close enough for those who like to swim. The
properties are comfortably furnished in local style and have a garden
and shaded patio for outdoor living. Most of the adjoining properties
are owned by Italian families who come to escape the heat and
overcrowding in the cities in summer. Our guests can enjoy the cooler
climate of the hills and still be near the sea.
