Customer Reviews Just OK by .. M. Baldridge (Los Angeles) Like others said, it's not an "official" Yamaha stand. It's generic but very sturdy and the adjustment works with one limitation: you can only lower it so far as the more you lower it, the wider the space at top, which will exceed the lenght of some keyboards at the lower levels. I purchased this for a Yamaha EZ200 61 key keyboard and none of the settings on the height adjustment will make it line up with the stand indentations on the bottom of the keyboard. That's the tradeoff for having an adjustable stand. the keyboard sits on the rubber "feet" fine and I don't have a problem with it sliding off. Only other comment is about assembly. I've read that many people had a lot of problems. The instructions are poor, but I threw them away and had it assembled in about 10 min. It's pretty obvious if you look at the box cover and then the 4 pieces. Overall, it's a fair buy.
horrible stand by .. Jeffrey Halpern () The stand was very wobbely after assembled. OK on carpet but horrible on hard wood. It was returned and accepted for return.
Yamaha double x keyboard stand by .. Joseph H. Scales (Havertown,Pa USA) Yamaha double x keyboard stand does not fit correctly on my Yamaha keyboard. Also, is not really a Yamaha product. It was false advertising. It did not fit in grooves so we put velcro to hold it on. Very dissapointed.
GREAT STAND FOR A GREAT PRICE!!! by .. Joy (Buffalo, NY USA) Let me first start by saying the stand was indeed a pain to put together...It didn't take me too long though (35 minutes or so), but like the other reviewers said, the directions arent the clearest, and you do have to stare at the picture...intently...to figure it out...but it is defiantely do-able. As far as the quality of the stand goes, IT'S EXCELLENT!!! The stand is extremely sturdy; I've had it for about 2 months now with no problem. I noticed some people were a bit peeved because the keyboard is advertised as a Yamaha product, and some people said it didnt fit their Yamaha keyboards. The product is definately NOT a Yamaha brand stand, the logo is no where to be found on the actual product. However, it fits my M-Audio 88-key keyboard just fine. False advertising, bit of a pain to put together, but still a great stand at a great price!
Good Stand by .. msiler here... (Portsmouth, NH) Well made. A little confusing to assemble but you'll figure it out with a few tries. The screws are located in teh ends of the legs (you'll understand when you get them). Seems solid. adjusts easily. Only drawback I see is that there is no place to attach the keyboard directly to the stand so if the keyboard is knocked it can fall off. I am sure there is a fix for this and will research one. Good deal for $29 though.
