The unit is exactly as described. This was a gift for my wife to use away from home. We have a full size baby grand piano and I thought this would be just a toy for her to have fun with. However, we were surprised at the quality of the sound in piano mode. Most of the other modes (horns etc) sound like different varieties of harpsacords. But she is having fun and keeping in practice when away from home. The keyboard stand does not really fit the keyboard in a solid manner (allot of other reviews noted this as well). But it can be made to work. This is definitely worth the price and I'm happy with the purchase. Yamaha keyboard by .. Got this Yamaha keyboard instead that exceeds my expectations. Maybe a little more than I can handle, but who's complaining. Don't have to annoy the neighbors by using the earphones. The headphones have good sound, the stand is not appropriate, but does keep the keyboard steady as long as you set it back a bit. The features are easy to understand and headphones are good when you don't want to disturb others. great keyboard, not great stand by .. Mrs. Sandra L. Strudwick (Rural NJ) The keyboard, headphones and power cord are well worth the price. The stand is very sturdy, but doesn't seem to actually connect to the keyboard in any way. It seems like the keyboard should snap into the stand in some way, but it really just rests on top. I read the reviews before I purchased, so I knew the stand was an issue, but feel the whole purchase was a good deal anyway. I got this keyboad for my 10 yr old son who began taking piano lessons on a much smaller keyboard. His piano teacher was impressed with the new one because of the excellent sound and full size keys and number of octaves. I agree with the other reviews that stated this was a keyboard that is appropriate for adult use, too. We are pleased with the purchase.
