Customer Reviews I guess you get what you pay for by .. Marilyn B. (Seattle) Previously I had another Braun electric toothbrush, I don't know the model number but I had it for about 8 or 9 years before it finally bit the dust. I was hoping for the same quality with this purchase however this one does not have the light, or the nice holder to keep the brush head separate when not in use. That I could have dealt with but this is less than 2 months old and completely stopped working. I have not yet reached customer service, will update this review when I do. Their website says will accept returns on defective items within 30 days...hmmm, wonder what that means for me.
Does the job! by .. P. Ronat (Lafayette, CA USA) This toothbrush does the job! Costs less than some other models but your teeth will never know the difference. For example, some models have extra sounds to guide your pace of brushing your teeth. This one tells you when you have spent enough time to have done a complete job of brushing. It takes very little time to get used to brushing at that pace, so it is not necessary to have a little bell tell you when you are 1/4 through the job, as some more expensive models do. I already had one of this model, which has lasted for years, so when my husband needed a new toothbrush, I ordered the same for him.
Electric Toothbrush & Shipping by .. A. MURTOUGH () This item replaced an identical one that I had which worked well, but in my opinion failed prematurely as it wouldn't hold a charge. Hopefully the replacement will last longer. One big disappointment is that the shipping charge for a small item at $8.95 is too high, over half the cost of the toothbrush.
Great simple electric toothbrush by .. A. Davis (Philadelphia, PA USA) I had an earlier version of this toothbrush for about 10 years, and it finally died. When buying the replacement, I didn't want anything fancy -- just a basic electric toothbrush that would spin and gently clean my teeth. That's what this one does, and it works very well. This version of the toothbrush has a more compact charger. It still gives you the stutter at 2 minutes to let you know how long you've been brushing. It no longer has the charger light, which is no big deal. The toothbrush works beautifully, AND it is considerably cheaper than the previous version. Nice!
Braun Oral-B D9513/AP950TX AdvancePower 950 TX Ele... by .. W. Scrimger () This is the first electric toothbrush my 11 year old daughter has used and so far she likes it. I have a Phillips Sonicare and find the major difference is that the Sonicare shuts off after 2 minutes - the Oral-B pulses after 2 minutes to let you know to turn it off. Will have to own longer to get a better feeling for it.
