I am very happy with R710 HealthyWhite Power Toothbrush as it cleans my teeth like my dental hygienist without the prohibitive cost. It even reaches and cleans the hard to reach area like my wisdom teeth all the way in the back. There is no going back to old toothbrush as I am so impressed with this toothbrush. Better to heed the warning by .. Morris J. (NY) The brush head on the Phillip R710 Healthy White vibrates off as you are using it. I got hit in the eye with it. I put it back on and it again came flying off again. I thought it almost went down my sink drain. Then I called Phillips Sonicare and they told me that this has never happened before. I told them it is not true because I read on the Amazon review boards that it happened to two other people. They proceeded to tell me they have nothing to do with Amazon. Then they said they would send me another one. I told them I would rather have another model. I had previosly owned the E series model for several years. It was a good model. They told me they couldn't send me a different model. I told them I was very unhappy and was a customer for many years. They didn't care. Then they made sure I couldn't return the used brush with the replacement brush, they were sending me. They made me wait for over one month to receive my new brush. During the waiting period for my replacement brush, I received an email from their customer service division requeting to know how their product and service was. I reported a negative critique. I told them I was waiting for my replacemenet brush for almost a month. Still no one from their customer service division called to apologize to me. Next time, I will take the Amazon negative reviews a little more seriously. I was just so excited about the newer technology and wanted to try it. Easy to use and gives that just visited dentist feeling. Arrived in 6 days with free shipping. Highly recommended. More powerful than old E-series by .. A customer () I bought my first Sonicare toothbrush back in 2002, an original E-series, and I used it until it wouldn't recharge any more, which was about Christmas 2008. After using a manual toothbrush a few weeks, I decided I simply had to get another Sonicare. I upgraded to the R710, and I couldn't be happier. The lithium batteries make it smaller, lighter, easier to handle, and just more... toothbrush-like. The E-series always was a handful. Plus, Sonicare has apparently improved their ultrasonic technology over the last 6 years... the R710 is significantly more powerful than my old one was. The only downside I've found is that, since the R710 has 2 cleaning modes (whereas my old model had only one), turning the unit off in mid-cycle requires pressing the button twice instead of just once. The first press switches modes, and the second press finally turns it off. Love Love Love it by ..
