I also bought a 'key of G' elsewhere (it was not available on Amazon at the time) just to cover a little wider range. I also like to play with a guitar. I have played with some cheaper plastic harmonicas. From my limited knowledge, these Honers create more vibrant sound with less effort on both in and out breaths than anything I had used before. My first expression was 'wow', after I blew out just one note. For the novice, like me, this Honer has ten 'holes' that will create one note on the 'out breath' an a different one the 'in breath'. () Playing the harmonica is Like a smoking problem. You will spend 30.oo dollars every 2 months forever, until you quit. WHY ? Because in order to play good ,hard blues ( That sound good ). Your going to brake these things every 2 maybe 3 months........to be satisfied, and make you feel good. Don't let that get you down though....this brand of harmonica is ranked among all the pro's as one of the best for blues. But you have to remember...HARMONICA playing is a HABBIT and you will spend 200.00 dollars a year on these things to play GOOD BLUES. They are not a GIBSON guitar , that will last you forever. In order to play and sound and be good......YOU GOT TO BRAKE THEM. " Push them to there limits". And these SPeacil 20's are one of the best. Lee OSKARS are as well. But SPEACIL 20's produce more RHYTHEM,WARM SOUND, DEEP SOUND,EXPRESSION , than other harmonicas on the market. But they will brake. BUT WHO CARES, WHERE PLAYING THE BLUES.( And it feels good.)
