At first I found them so neutral sounding that I felt they were a bit bland. But after listening I've come to appreciate how easy they are to listen to for a long time. Probably better for music and vocal material then gaming because of their lack of a thunderous bass. But the imaging is far better then anything in it's price range! I've never had anything that sounds as good as these speakers do. when you get into the "sweet spot" you get absorbed into the music! Very cool. Ballance () I did not expect such a well built product for the modest amount that I payed for the speakers. They were very well assembled, heavy and quite attractive. It took about 10 minutes to hook them up to a cable box to improve the sound of a small lcd tv. The sound was very rich and full, unlike the tinny effect from the tv speakers. I would highly recommend these M-Audio speakers to anyone hoping for improved sound out of their tv
