Item : B0012TZJZ4 Customer Reviews NICE MONITOR by .. g man (florida) I took a lot of time to research a good all purpose monitor and found this was a good bang for the buck..nice pix, no dead pixels and very versatile in horizontal and vertical positions... ive read a lot of people complain about the touch controls.. get over it already, this has not been a problem whatsoever. if youre looking for them in pitch black then yes , its an issue.....yes its tn, probably not as good as an apple but not as expensive either, still a nice picture and good for all overall use.. horizontal viewing angle ok. about the same as all monitors in its class..price- well i dont think its worth over 410 or 420, its been out for a while and if you pick it up for 400 or less youre getting a deal..i would buy another and probably will if they go below 400...hope this is helpfull This is one amazing monitor! by .. GMF () I just bought a new gaming PC and wanted the right monitor to complement the system. I was happy with 20" Apple Cinema display, but wanted something bigger. After doing some research, I came across this particular monitor. I was comparing this monitor with Samsung's 245T and was surprised to find out that this monitor outperformed the 245T and was roughly half the price. I use this monitor for gaming only and so far it's amazing. I ran into some stuck pixel problems with my cinema display when I first bought it and was worried that I might face the same issues with the Samsung. Well, let me tell you that this screen is flawless; it is brighter and more vivid than my cinema display. I also feared that this monitor would feel a bit cheap. This is simply not the case. The monitor is sturdy and well made. I literally sat in awe when I set up the screen for the first time. I still can't believe how incredible this screen is. I am very picky when it comes to image quality and I must say, I would recommend this screen to any gamer out there. Gorgeous monitor. 24 diagonal inches of eye candy. by .. Santiago Montana (Colorado) What can I say? This monitor is AWESOME! This is the first time I ever had to push the monitor BACK. I'm used to leaning forward to get close to the screen but not with this bad boy. Backlighting appears totally consistent all over its huge area. I'm pushing the beast with a beast of a double-stack graphics card too. The stand is great because it is so adjustable in height, tilt and rotation. When we need another 24" monitor at the office, I will get this same one again assuming it's still available. Great Monitor by .. B. It does get a little hot, and the buttons are impossible to see while the monitor is on, but the touch interface added a "cool factor" Overall.... don't buy that dell you were looking at.. buy the SyncMaster 2493 Samsung 2493HM 24" by .. Scott J. Stewart (Anchorage, AK USA) I upgraded from a Samsung 2253BW 22" to this and I love it! The picture quality is amazing, I can play all my PC games at 1920x1200. The HDMI input and built-in speakers are a nice touch. When I ordered this from Amazon it came with free shipping to Alaska, Newegg would of charged me around $100. The monitor came pre-built in the box, it was very easy to setup. I just had to re-arrange my desk because it was so big compared to my previous LCD lol. There was no dead-pixels which was a relief.
