Sally () When I first bought my sonicare toothbrush, I wasnt completely happy with it. It didnt seem to clean that much better than my regular manual toothbrush. I still had plaque on my back teeth, in the groove behind my two front upper teeth and sometimes right at the edges where my teeth met my gums. I ended up brushing double the recommended 2 mins just to make sure my teeth were clean. This overbrushing probably wasnt too good for my gums. I decided to replace my brush head after about 6 months of using it. I noticed the compact brush said its meant to clean harder to reach areas. Some reviews also recommended it so I decided to try it. And now I know, the problems I had before with the brush not cleaning well enough, it was the BRUSH HEAD! The compact brush is great, it fully cleans all the areas I had trouble with when using the standard brush. Now I just stop brushing at the 2 min mark and dont need to overbrush. Also if you register your product at Sonicare, you get an email every 3 months for a rebate of $5 if you buy a multipack so you save a bit on each brushhead. Love the compact brushes by .. P. Menon (NC) The regular brush heads are just too large for my mouth. When I tried to clean the back side of my lower front teeth, I couldn't get the brushes against my teeth without hitting another tooth with the plastic part of the brush, which I did not feel was healthy for the tooth being hit. Until I found out that I could order compact brush heads, I was contemplating not using the Sonicare altogether. Now, with these compact brush heads, I can reach every part of my mouth without difficulty and clean the back side of my lower front teeth without banging on my other teeth. I only wish they were a little cheaper or would go on sale like the regular size brush heads do. Phillips E-Brush Heads at Fair Price by .. Perry M. Smith (Baltimore, MD USA) The pharmacies and larger outlets near my home have stopped carrying Sonicare products for unknown reasons. I was relieved to discover that I could order replacement toothbrush heads from Amazon at a decent price and with speedy delivery. Since I use the Sonicare toothbrush on the recommendation of my dentist, I was relieved that I could continue to do so without an interruption in my dental hygiene regimen.
