Spin, Push, Turn. Pick a spot on the sheetrock where you need the base of the hook to sit. Then, measure 1/4" straight above that point and set the tip there. Next, with firm forward pressure, twist the hook forwards and backwards ( like a key) until you have chiseled through the wall. Now spin the Hercules Hook up and push completely into the wall till only the hook is showing.
The Hercules Hook does not need tools for installation, nor do you need to find studs for installation.
