The only limitation to this one is that it doesn't time the individual 30 second segments - only the two minute brushing time. This is a small negative. For the money, this is an excellent product. My previous one lasted 10 (!) years, and I only replaced it because it started to get moldy and I saw that replacement brush heads cost almost as much as a new toothbrush. This new version is wonderful. The head is smaller and more flexible. My dentist said my teeth have never looked better. Why pay more for extra electronics that might break? When comparing toothbrushes, be sure to check on the price of replacement heads. A set typically runs ~$25, which can add up. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that it took me a full 30 minutes just to get through the clam shell packaging. I cut myself a couple of times in the process. There is no easy way to open the hard plastic. It's ridiculous that they get away with packaging like this. It's a lawsuit waiting to happen. More people need to write to manufacturers and complain.
