patio area, along the private cliff path, to the secluded shingle beach
below the house, where your only company is most likely to be herons,
Oystercatchers and cormorants.
Situated between Tywyn and
Dolgellau, this period stone cottage is one of a group of three
cottages set in two acres of former farmland perched between the
mountains of Snowdonia and the Bay of Cardigan. The properties have
been completely refurbished in 2004 to a high standard.
Yr Olaf
is furnished in a contemporary style reflecting its light and airy
situation. To take advantage of the glorious views, the lounge/diner
and kitchen are on the first floor with bedrooms and bathroom
downstairs on the ground floor. The ground floor entrance leads into
the hall with stairs. There is one double bedroom and one twin
(convertable to superking-sized bed). Shared shower room.
Upstairs
the landing leads on to the lounge/diner, kitchen and cloakroom. The
lounge/diner has a feature fire,TV and home theatre system with a
French door opening onto the raised decking with southerly aspect. A
patio table and chairs are provided. Steps off the decking lead to the
private lawned area and parking. Access can be gained easily from the
garden to either floor.
