This is an antique Western Electric telephone operator's set with receiver, breastplate and wires. The Patent date on the ear piece/receiver is 127335 which indicates 1918-1919. It also has WESTERN ELECTRIC and the no. 528. The ear piece/receiver (black bakelite-2 1/2" dia.) is missing the headband and the breastplate (5" X 5 1/2") is missing the microphone and neckstrap. It has a 4 foot long cloth covered cord with 5 little metal connectors on the end. The breastplate also has WESTERN ELECTRIC MADE IN USA and the no. 396A. It is in very good condition with no breaks or cracks. A great old telephone collectible! Shipping will be actual cost for 2 lbs. from my zip code 18614. Email me for an estimate.
