Click title/picture for details. offer US $585.00 This is a great type set of error coins featuring the 2006 South Dakota state quarter. This collection includes a 2006D PCGS MS63 obverse clad layer missing. It has a nice, bright red obverse surface. This coin lost its obverse clad layer before it was struck. There is a very rare 2006P off-center in BU condition. Off-center quarters after about 2002 are extremely rare due to the introduction of the Schuler presses which greatly reduce this type of error. Also, there is a 2006P broadstrike in BU condition. A broadstrike occurs when a coin is struck outside of its retaining collar. The last coin is a 2006D elliptical clip. It has a duller luster than the other 3 probably due to light circulation. Major state quarter errors are getting more difficult to locate. -
