Bell Trigger Youth Bike Helmet
The Bell Trigger Youth Bike Helmet is constructed of an EPS foam layer bonded to a microshell using an inmold process, making the helmet both sturdy and solid. It's adjustable ErgoDial fit system, which can be operated with one hand, provides a snug and comfortable fit. The straps around the ears are easy to adjust with locking levers and the Pinchguard buckle that secures the helmet under the chin is specifically designed to prevent kids from pinching their necks. The helmet is equipped with a detachable, snap-in visor and 23 air vents. The Trigger is a universal youth size, fitting heads from 19.75 to 22.5-inches (50 to 57-centimeters).
Bell Trigger Youth Bike Helmet Review
I bought this helmet for my 3 year old. He likes it, it seems to fit well, seems to adjust fairly easily, received good reviews from Consumer Reports. The only thing I don't like about it is the chin straps seem to twist a little bit between the ears and chin. My son hasn't complained about this being uncomfortable, but it looks like it might possibly be. I can't see any way to straighten them out all the way from ears to chin, it's just the way they are attached to the helmet. Generally though, I am very happy with it. Oh, another thing, in the photo, the helmet looks almost red, white, and blue. It's really dark gray and black. I think the photo doesn't show this actual helmet but the design (style and stars) are the same.
