One side depicts the three astronauts & reads, “AD ASTRA PER ASPERA / APOLLO 11 / EDWIN E. ALDRIN JR. NEIL A. ARMSTRONG MICHAEL COLLINS JULY 20 1969” ( in tiny letters under this is “CASEY LOMBARDO”); its the other side, depicting the space shuttle on the moon, reads, “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA – FIRST ON THE MOON”. No one believed JFK when he set this goal; he didn’t live to see it realized, but many of us remember his part in this amazing achievement. Great piece of history to add to any collection.
