'Namaste' Necklace
Namaste - a respectful greeting between devout Hindi and Buddhists in Southern Asia.
Literally translated, Namaste means, "I bow to you".
The greeting, Namaste, is accompanied with a slight bow and with the palms and fingers of the hands pressed together. The Kanji symbol for Namaste is representative of the palms of the hands being placed together.
In Yoga, Namaste means,"I am your humble servant" and is said to the instructor at the end of each yoga session.
All of our necklaces are individually handpainted - no two necklaces are alike - each is as unique as the person who wears them.
Every necklace comes in it's own ivory shear gift bag making it the perfect Valentine's Day gift.
(We will custom size this necklace to whatever length you desire. Please let us know what length you would like at the time of ordering.)

About Kanji Necklaces
The origins of Kanji and Kanji calligraphy date back to the 3rd century when fleeing Buddhist monks from China found sanctuary in Japan. Free from persecution, the monks developed a highly creative form of Kanji art which we see today.
Many eastern traditional spiritual leaders believe that through Kanji the inner Chi is both re-affirmed and strengthened. As in yoga and the martial arts, connecting with the inner self brings focus - focus brings peace of mind, body and spirit.
Each Kanji symbol is representative of a persons inner Chi (spirit).
Express and strengthen your own inner Chi with our unique handmade uisex Kanji pendant necklaces.
We use only natural materials (hemp, leather, hemlock) in the making of our necklaces.
