Nick and Karen Kitchener and their son George. Lauroux is well-known in
the area for its commitment to producing quality, affordable wines with
the minimum of chemical intervention. The Kitcheners have invested in
holiday accommodation as part of their commitment to oenotourisme/wine
tourism in the South West of France.
Self catering - our 3 bed,
2 bath former estate workers' cottage has been fully renovated to a
high standard offering comfortable, family friendly accommodation for
up to 6 adults and a baby. The cottage offers a large kitchen/dining
room with wood-burning stove and separate lounge with satellite TV/DVD
player. The large, shady terrace on the side of the cottage has a
built-in BBQ.
Our 11m x 5m salt-water pool with 3m roman-end
steps is situated above the vines offering stunning views across the
surrounding countryside. The poolis securely fneced to meet French
government regulations. The large, paved terrace surrounding the pool
has sunloungers, parasols, chairs and tables.
B&B Studio -
following the renovation of the main farmhouse, a self-contained suite
comprising sitting room with TV?DVD player, bedroom with four-poster
double bed and bathroom with hydro/power shower is available at 70
euros per night. The studio has its own separate terrace with table and
chairs. The suite sleeps 2 plus a baby - breakfast can be served on the
terrace or in the sitting room.
