Snow-white Tange Infinite CroMo double-butted 4lb frame, HiTen tubular fork. Forged dropouts.

Shimano EXAGE Motion equipped:

Centurion handlebars, white cork wrap.

Dual-lever brake pulls. Indexed downtube shift levers.

Shimano BioPace Computer Designed crankset with 52/40 chain rings, 8" (170mm) pedal arms. Tange equipped bottom bracket (Japan).

Araya copper-anodized 700c rims with sealed quick-release hubs. New Continental High-Pressure 23c tires, presta valve-stem tubes.

Centurion was a trademark of Western States Imports (WSI) starting in 1982. In the early '90s, WSI stopped the Centurion brand name and applied the Diamondback brand to their road models.

The Centurions of the late 1970s and early 1980s were mostly outfitted with SunTour components or a mix of SunTour, Sugino and other components. Later, as their rival Japanese component maker Shimano came to dominate the market with innovative, quality components at highly competitive prices, WSI switched almost entirely to Shimano.
