down the hillside from the medieval castle to the River Dordogne and
the property lies midway between the two. It is built in the local
style of honey coloured stone, has a sunny South facing aspect and
wonderful views across the valley from the windows and the terrace. Le
Rouquet has been newly renovated to form two independant holiday gites
which can be rented separately or together at a discount.The
garden apartment is light and airy and sleeps up to 4 people in
comfort. It consists of a large fully equipped kitchen with table and
chairs if you do not want to eat outside on the terrace. The beautiful
sitting room has stone walls and oak beam features and the sofa
converts into a King size bed. Lovely stone steps lead up from the
sitting room to the bedroom which is prettily decorated and has a
double bed and a lovely view over the valley. It also benefits from its
own outside door. The modern tiled bathroom has a large shower and
heated towel rail which ensures it is always comfortably warm and
