abbey which is home to the Holy Shroud of Cadouin (now known to be a
fake), hotel, restaurants, many local artisans, tourist information
centre, boulangerie, and a thriving weekly market.
Getting to
our home-from-home could not be easier: Bergerac airport is a
comfortable and scenic 30 minutes drive away. The many Chateaux and
Bastide towns of the Dordogne are all within a short drive, and
medieval Sarlat is only 25 minutes drive away; The region is renowned
for its truffles, foie gras, confits and wine!
