cottage was converted from an old forge and many of the original
features have been retained, adding to its character. It is the middle
of three cottages and has a pretty stream running in front of it, with
a bridge for access. Ducktails has a lovely beamed sitting room with an
Inglenook fireplace.This contains a woodburning stove, which makes it
lovely and cosy in the winter. Plenty of logs are provided. There are
also electric storage heaters both upstairs and downstairs.Used
by us as our own holiday and weekend cottage, Ducktails is furnished to
a high standard and very well equipped. Everything in the cottage is
new and the reclaimed pine furniture was made specially by a local
craftsman.The whole cottage has been redecorated and recarpeted
throughout. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare both cordon
bleu meals and barbecues. It also has a full sized dishwasher.The
bathroom, which is downstairs, has a wide bath with a shower above it.
It also has a heater for those cold winter days.The two
bedrooms are upstairs. The master bedroom has a double bed, large chest
of drawers, wardrobe cupboard and bedside table.The twin bedroom has
