Dobrinishte is the most famous for its mineral springs, these springs have a water temperature between 30 and 43˚C, as well as a big mineral public bath. This is well worth a visit, the baths are set out well with restaurant, sun-loungers and good changing facilities.

Bear Sanctuary is situated in Rila Mountain 33 kilometers from the famous Bansko. The region is spread with natural forests, valleys and water areas. It is also a home of the wild brown bear. Every single bear has its own territory with access to water and plenty of space for climbing, just as if they are in a natural wild environment.

Rila Monastery is Bulgaria's biggest monastery, well worth a visit.

There are some amazing mountain walks or take a mountain bike in the Pirin Mountains, some peaks rising to 2,500m, glacial lakes, old forests & waterfalls. There are marked paths to follow or you could go with a Mountain guide.
