What We Offer
Looking to buy the right horse for you or wondering why you current horse does certain things? I can help. We offer total customization of equine training and owner instruction. Our over all goals are to create a safe, fun, and informative atmosphere, promoting hope through horsemanship. Take advantage of the free consultation (over the phone) to determine what areas you or your horse need to work the most on. Then if you want to schedule a session for you and/or your horse, we will use your consultation information to creat a custom program just for you.
Our trainer/instructor can come to you within 1hrs drive of Marietta, GA. She is also willing to drive further (within reason) for multiple horse and/or rider situations.
Lessons can be carried out on your own horse or a borrowed one. Lessons can happen on your property, at your friend'sat your boarding stable. When borrowing a horse or scheduling a session at your boarding facility, you will need to get permission from the owner, stable manager and/or on-site trainer as necessary before the first session can take place. It is not our wish to step on any toes :).
The first session for all skill levels will include property and feeding assesment for use for sessions, adjustments for your and/or your horse's learning style, and on line instruction and/or round pen introduction. All other sessions will include approximatly 20 min comprehension of ideas and 40 min practical application (back to back sessions can be scheduled if it will be productive towards your customized program). More time will be spent on practical application as the rider's/horse's skill level increases. For customers that have little or no equine experience, more time will be spent on building the necesary knowlede to help them ease into this wonderful sport.
Meet the Trainer/Instructor
Jessica Bailey has over 15 years experience working in the equine industry, and practices natural horsemanship. She completed a BA in pre-veterinary Medicine/Animal and Dairy Science with a target in Equine Studies. Jessica trains fresh, green, and problem horses in western pleasure, hunt seat on the flat and orver fences. She also gives lessons to adults and children in these diceplines from beginner to intermediate (CHA certified). Through the years, Jessica has worn many hats. She was a stable manager for 60 horses at a 340 ac guest estate (both boarded and farm owned). She's also guided trail rides, given pony rides/parties, and horse camps. Jessica volunteers at equine rescues and the state equine impound. She has been apart of the rehabilitaiton of sick/injured horses and is committed to helping them find "forever homes". Jessica is also equally committed to children. She was a Red Cross lifeguard and swimming instructor for over 3 years. She has also worked with programs for neglected/abandoned kids to introduce them to horses promoting self worth, trust, confidence, and hope. | | | | | | |  | |  |
