Trixie is a 13 year old quarter horse mare. She stands at 14.3 hands and is 1,100 pounds. She is liver chestnut with a white sock and a star. Trixie also has a brand on her right shoulder (BM is the brand) we aren't quite sure what it stands for though.We bought Trixie, intending for her to be a “kid safe” beginner horse. Later, we found out she ran barrels and is NOT a beginner horse. Trixie is used for trail riding now. We have done barrels with her but have not took her to any competions. Trixie is usually ridden western but has been ridden english. She is green at the canter(except for barrels) but is eager to learn. She definitely has the potential to become a great 4-H project with the right "finishing up" . Trixie is UTD on shots and worming. She loads, tacks up easily and stands for the vet and farrier. We no longer have the time for a horse, due to traveling and our family owned business.
