On a personal level, he is one of the warmest, most approachable individuals you will ever want to meet. As a speaker, Ken is a model of simple, accurate, and in depth description of truth, without judgment. Ken goes to the inner heart of what one’s ego desperately wants to keep hidden and normally treats as being too complex, dangerous, contentious and painful to examine. He does this with humour and brilliance. At times, Ken is like a fast paced stand up comedian, keeping everyone in stitches as he releases all their sacred cows.
Narcissism, The Ego’s Myth, will deal with the ego's self-love that is the ultimate source of our mortality. The Greek myth of the young man so smitten with himself that he ends up dying rather than destroying his image, will form the central theme of this seminar. Ken will be contrasting the thought system of self-centeredness with the message of selflessness, that substitutes the shared interests that unite us within the illusion for the ego's philosophy of one or the other, which dictates everything we think, feel, and do in the world.
