One reason NOT to buy a Kindle2

There is only ONE reason you may not want to buy the Kindle2
wireless reading device.
A smart customer, or at least the self-aware customer will always check out the coverage area before buying a cell phone, PDA or any other wireless device that relies on HIGH speed mobile connectivity.
Amazon does have a link to the Sprint network coverage map (only one short paragraph) but with people reading about all the features of the Kindle they just want it REALLY bad. They don't think about whether or not it will really work right out of the box. What a bummer to shell out over $300.00 and it won't work at all.
I'ts not that the Kindle2
won't do what's promised, most times it just can't if you don't have HIGH speed coverage in your area. HIGH speed is the keyword here. Most cellphones can get reception, send pictures and text but when a HIGH speed network is needed those areas usually only include your major cities in the United States so far..

You must check this map out

In order to get the HIGH speed coverage you must live in the ORANGE areas.
If you live in the GREEN areas the
Kindle2
will downgrade itself to a lower speed signal and not work properly. If you're in the WHITE areas then forget it - it's a dead zone.
If you visit
Kindle: Amazon's Wireless Reading Device
you can zoom in on your exact location to see more. Remember it's only one little paragraph but look for the Spring coverage map.

In closing if you live in an Orange area on the Sprint coverage map - Go for it!!!
The Kindle2 wireless reading device is truly the future of reading in the palm of your hand!
Just wanted to warn people out there to check the Sprint coverage map before they ordered one.
