Driving Test Knowledge Help Hints and Online Video

As your driving test approaches you believe that you are perfectly prepared but there are a few things you should pay special attention to increase your chances of passing .

Even before you actually leave your property make sure you check all your vehicle lights are working correctly. A check will be conducted before you depart from the parking lot on your road test. It is also important that all the necessary paperwork is correct including having your learners permit. It goes without saying that you should arrive at the test centre with a licensed driver.

It is essential that you arrive punctually; most test centres have busy schedules and will not take kindly to people who miss their allotted appointment. It may be a good idea to take a book or some other form of distraction in case you are made to wait. This will keep your mind occupied and stop you worrying about your upcoming test.

It is critical to either switch off your cell phone or leave it at home. You do not want friends calling you at this important time. Try to keep a relaxed state and let your examiner lead the conversation. Keep in mind he does not know you as a person and is unaware of the level of your driving ability.

Pay special attention to the instructions of your examiner. After all he will not ask you to perform any manoeuvres you will not be aware of from your driving manual. It is assumed you have studied it a great deal. If you are unsure of any of his instructions do not hesitate to ask him to repeat his directions. He will definitely prefer you to do this than to perform something incorrectly or in a dangerous manner.

Your eyes should be fixed on the road when ever possible. Checking your speedometer frequently but only for a short period of time. This should also be repeated with your rear-view mirrors. The examiner has to be in the knowledge that you are completely aware of surrounding traffic. This will indicate to him that you will have the ability to react to an unforeseen traffic situation.

Braking should be as even and smooth as you can manage. Also pay close attention to signal changes if you are required to change a lane or conduct a right turn.

It is a good idea to have thorough preparation for the manoeuvres most people struggle with. Persistently practice these in an abandoned parking lot or other quiet area. It is also a good idea to focus on any other area of your driving you feel could improve. Remember clearly the rules for three- or four-way stops. Continually practice all these areas but be aware of other drivers in the area.

Keep relaxed and put trust the examiner. With sufficient practice and knowledge there should be no reason why you can not pass your test. Congratulate yourself on your success on getting your licence, and here is to many happy years driving. The best driving aid I have ever seen can be found at the link below I hope this is helpful:
