Willow is a Beagle my husband and I rescued from neglect over a year ago. Unfortunately, we can no longer afford the place we are living in and our new apartment does not allow pets of any kind. We need to find our sweet puppy a loving home as soon as possible or we will be force to take her to the humane society. This is something we just do not want to do.
As stated before, Willow came from a home where she was neglected, so she is slightly food aggressive. We have trained her that she is going to be able to keep her food and not have to fight for it, so she is a lot better. She also knows how to sit, but that is about it.
She can not go to a home where there are small children. She does not like to be pulled on or handled in a incorrect manor. Nor can she go to a home with other dogs that are bigger than her. Anytime we have tried to make her interact with other big dogs she growls and gets scared. She has been just fine with our two cats and becomes adjusted to other small dogs easily.
