of the River Allier. The 300 m2 of living space consists of a large
Drawing room with marble fireplace and four tall windows. The large
sitting room has two tall windows with views onto the river. This room
also has its original marble fireplace. There are five spacious
bedrooms, three with en suite showers and one private bathroom. There
is also a shower off the kitchen for the ground floor bedroom. This
bedroom also has it own adjoining study/sitting room.The house
is decorated with some English and French antique furniture. The
original wooden floors in many of the rooms are covered with both
Persian and Chinese rugs.The newly equipped kitchen/dining room
contains an electric oven and a gas cooker with oven & hob, a large
American style fridge-freezer, a microwave oven, a dishwasher and a
washing machine. Leading off from this, there is a petit dining room. The
10m x 5m swimming pool, installed in 1999, is situated in a fenced
side-garden, with a family sized outdoor BBQ. There is also a poolside
bar with refrigerator. Bicycles, table tennis, badminton, and some
