The beaches are within a short drive, the nearest being La Zenia, which is a wide flat safe blue flag beach with showers, toilets and beach bars. Torrevieja itself has a variety of good shops and many bars and resturancts, parallel to the night market is a fairground which is open most of the years. Torrevieja is very family orientated.
