small village (730 inhabitant) of the Montefeltro area in the province
of Pesaro e Urbino positioned at the border between Marche and Tuscany.
Located among the green hills (343 meters above sea level) of the
Foglia valley river Belforte it takes one hour by car to reach the
Adriatic sea (Rimini, Riccione, Pesaro), 30 minutes to Urbino, San Leo
and the Repubblic of San Marino, one hour to Perugia, two hours to
Firenze and Siena. Belforte is the ideal place to stay in
stillness and experiment the slow country rhythms. Here you can taste
the variety of the peculiar products of the zone. You can also reach
the most beautiful cities of art of the middle Italy in a short time.
On the hills around it is possible hiking (game reserve of Sasso Simone
e Simoncello), biking, mountain biking, horse riding and search
