This saddle has a rigid Cantle and Pommel made out of Fiber-glass but has its side bars made of flexible rubber-like proprietary material. This saddle falls in a class between a traditional treed saddle and the popular Hilason Treeless saddle.
The main objective of this saddle is to have a saddle with the feel of a regular tree in its construction yet providing more movement to the horse by the flexible bars.
