Situated on the borders of the Dordogne and Limousin regions of France and located in the centre of 10 acres of landscaped gardens & wild flower meadows.

We aim to make your stay at La Simpode a comfortable one. The rooms are tastefully furnished, blending modern with traditional designs and each has private facilities. Double or twin rooms are available at 50€/night.

A continental style or a cooked breakfast is served.


Evening meals are offered at 30€/person/night for 4 courses including a bottle of wine and tea or coffee. Our meals are made with seasonal local produce and when possible the vegetables and fruits are taken from our organic garden.

A galleried lounge area provides a comfortable seating/reading space and has satellite TV. The swimming pool is an impressive 12m x 6m and has sun loungers, tables and chairs for the use of guests and has breathtaking views of the valley. Our orchard has cherries, peaches, figs, apples and plums and backs directly onto the forest with access for walkers. House hunters will find some of the best and most knowledgeable estate agents in the Dordogne nearby.
