15" Simco Western Trail Saddle, Used
For sale is a used 15" Simco trail saddle. Simco and the number 8600 are stamped into the leather on the back housing. Both the front and the back conchos are silver with the ones on the back of the jockeys being leather. It is completely tooled with a leaf pattern. The seat is padded and stitched smooth leather. The stirrups are leather covered and laced. They adjust with roller buckles. The horn is tight and the leather on it is intact with the exception of the horn cap. The leather on the horn cap is loose. Someone has tried to stitch it but it is still loose. The fleece is complete and flattened from use. The tree is fiberglass and intact. The skirt is one piece. It has a 7/8 conventional single O-ring rigging. The gullet is 6 1/2", the bar spread is 11" and the saddle length is 23 1/2". The weight is 24 lbs. It has a used nylon off billet and girth tie strap. The saddle is worn and there are some picks on the front of the seat. It has seen alot of trails but still has many miles left in it.
