Due to many requests, we have uploaded a new video of our male Long Haired German Shepherd Dog Ash to showcase the sire of our litters - he is a prime example of what we breed for. He is 3.5 years old in the video, 30" at the shoulder, around 135 pounds depending on the season. He is a long haired German Shepherd, AKC/UKC registered and has been extensively health tested with OFA certified hips, a clear NON-CARRIER of degenerative myelopathy (meaning no matter the female he is bred to, ths pups will not have this debilitating illness), AKC DNA certified as well as a TLI testing to rule out exocrine pancreatic insufficiency, and was within normal range at 25.7 ug/L. Ash is usually the father to the puppies we occasionally have. He is such a wonderful dog and truly is a gentle giant German Shepherd, hopefully you can see his wonderful personality in this video. You can see his webpage at http://www.pioneergermanshepherds.com/oversizedgermanshepherd_ash.html He is everything we strive to breed for.
We are long coat German Shepherd breeders and have also recently uploaded another video of our long haired German Shepherd dogs and will be trying to get a few more up over the next few weeks. Here are some of our girls with Ash, video taken March 1, 2009 -
Please note that while we are long haired German Shepherd breeders, we occasionally have the traditional short coat German Shepherds as well!
