Mariposa is half Andalusian, half Belgian, bred to a purebred Frisian to foal in April. She is 15 hands, chestnut/flaxen, very sound with great feet. Started in summer of 2008. Very gentle, has not offered to bite, kick, buck, or rear. Not spooky. Easy to catch, trailer loads easily. Stands tied, and cross tied. General good manners, doesn't run you over for grain etc. She has the potential to be good beginner, or kids horse. Rides in a snaffle bit. Has had natural horsemanship training too, knows the 7 games. Not going to be show prospect, but would be fine for 4-H, or schooling shows. Price is negotiable, and will deduct an additional $500 without the foal. I have too many horses, and live in an area where I can offer finely bred horses at backyard prices.
