Bananagrams has swept the United Kingdom, and is now making it's American debut! Bananagrams is an addictive word game that's great for the whole family. The game begins by placing all 144 letter tiles face down in the middle of the table. Each player draws a set amount of tiles, which is dependent on the number of players in the game. Each player then creates their own connecting and intersecting words, much like a crossword puzzle...all players working on their own tiles at the same time. When one player has used all their tiles, each player must draw another tile from the center pile, including the player who used all their tiles. At any point in time you can "dump" a letter tile you don't want to keep, but then you must draw 3 tiles from the center pile. Game play continues until all the tiles are gone from the center pile and one player uses all their tiles.
Bananagrams is played on a table surface and requires no pen or paper, making it a great travel game. It's simple, versatile and educational, but most of all it's great family fun!
