A great deal of fun, MotorStorm is a racing video game developed by Evolution Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the Sony PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system. You can choose from seven vehicle types, from dirt bikes to big rigs, and destroy anything that gets in your way in a sprint to the finish. The events in the game occur in real-time, such as the mud effects, tire marks, and crashes. Races are generally three-lap events with two to fifteen racers.
MotorStorm will showcase cinematic effects such as motion blur, depth-of-field, and Hollywood-style "crash cams" that replay spectacular crash sequences during a race. It also features AI opponents which simulate human traits, like showing off, attacking and taunting. Cutting-edge A.I. reacts to situations realistically, locating the best routes and changing the level of driving aggression based on player actions. Combine all this madness with a strong physics engine courtesy of Havok and you'll be swallowing your heart through some very tense races.
